Glacier Express scenic train
This is the famous scenic train link between St-Moritz and Zermatt in Switzerland. It's a panoramic trip through the Alpine heartland of Switzerland, and a memorable way of traveling from the eastern to the western Swiss Alps. The journey lasts 7.5 hours. It passes through 91 tunnels and crosses 291 bridges and the 2033 m high Oberalp Pass.

Conditions for Interrail pass holders
Interrail passes including Switzerland are valid on the entire route from St. Moritz to Zermatt. Seat reservations, or dining car reservations at extra cost, are compulsory.
Reservation fees in low season (15 december 2019 - 5 May 2020): 23 - 33 CHF
Reservation fees in high season (9 May 2020 - 11 October 2020): 33 - 43 CHF

The new 1st and 2nd class panorama cars are air-cushioned, air-conditioned, wheelchair-accessible and are considerably quieter than the previous generation of rolling stocks. The new interiors are elegant and pleasant and the improved information system is available in six languages. The Glacier Express runs daily during Summer and Winter seasons and offers 1st and 2nd class coaches, panoramic coaches and a dining car.
