Festivals in Germany

It should come as no surprise that Germany throws some of the continent’s biggest and most celebrated music festivals. The country’s love for all genres of music, from rock and electronic to reggae, shows through in the variety of festivals in Germany throughout the year.

Hurricane Festival

Dates: 19 – 21 June 2020

Location: Scheeße, between Bremen and Hamburg

Hurricane is a massive three-day music festival. It leans towards rock and pop, with some of the biggest names in the industry, but there’s enough variety to keep most music fans satisfied.

Hurricane takes place close to Hamburg. You can reach the festival grounds by taking a train to Scheeße in less than 90 minutes.

Melt! Festival

Dates: 17 – 19 July 2020

Location: Gräfenhainichen, Germany

Nature One

Boasting one of the best electronic music lineups in the country, it’s no surprise that Nature One is one of the oldest and most established festivals of its kind. 20 stages, 50,000 people and the best sound and lighting make this a festival force to reckon with.

Take a train to Koblenz main station. There are regular shuttle buses departing from the station every 20 minutes.

Lollapalooza Berlin
