Croatia

With its natural beauty and historical treasures, it's no wonder Croatia is a filmmaker's paradise. And, if it's good enough for Mamma Mia and Game of Thrones, it's certainly the place for you. Whether you're a thrill-seeker or a sun-searcher, this bucket list is a great way to start your Croatian holiday.

Walk along Dubrovnik's Old Town walls

Dubrovnik's city walls were famous even before Game of Thrones, and walking along them is a must. Join a guided tour or take your time ambling along the fortifications, admiring the dazzling Adriatic Sea below.

Discover Diocletian's Palace, Split

If we had the money to build a retirement home like Emperor Diocletian, we'd definitely copy his palace. Visit Split to discover Diocletian's stunning fortress and palatial complex, now forming the Old Town. You can even stay in an Airbnb inside the walls!

Visit the waterfalls, Krka National Park

Croatia's beloved national park is home to some of Europe's most magical waterfalls. Although swimming is no longer allowed at the famous Skradinski Buk, even just admiring the waterfall and its pool is enough. Head to other parts of the park to get that refreshing dip, enjoying everything Krka has to offer.
