Can I get a refund for a reservation?
In some cases, yes. It always depends on the refund policy of the Railway company that runs the train. For example, if you booked a seat reservation on the Thalys high-speed train, the policy of the French Railways (SNCF) applies.
You can request a refund from the Railway companies through Interrail, if you meet the following conditions:
- The individual reservation needs to have a value of more than €25 per person.
- You cancelled your reservation at least 1 working day (8.30-17.00 CET) before your departure date by contacting our customer service.
Please note that the Eurostar high-speed train doesn't offer any refunds.
